Summer Brings Flooded Basements in Branford, Guilford, and East Haven CT

Severe storms this past summer have caused serious flooding in basements and first floors of homes and businesses throughout Connecticut.
This summer, the towns on the Connecticut Shoreline have been hit hard by heavy rains, tropical storms, and even a hurricane.
With all these heavy rains, we’ve seen multiple occurrences of flash flood warnings and watches. Many of these advisories have resulted in severe flash flooding in Branford, Guilford, and East Haven in a manner that we’ve not seen before.
